Mission Statement

Children of Grace demonstrates the love of Jesus Christ by offering hope to Ugandan orphans and other vulnerable children affected by poverty or AIDS through education, healthcare and empowerment programs to equip them to reach their full potential.

Guiding Principles 

1. Grow the sponsorship program to touch the lives of more students affected by poverty and AIDS.
2. Provide sponsored students with academic and vocational training and monitor their progress.
3. Monitor and influence the welfare of the sponsored child through ongoing home assessment, access to healthcare and health education.
4. Leverage the current Ugandan educational system for our students by selecting qualified schools and supplementing their educational programs.
5. Develop character and leadership in the students through Christian character development, empowerment and life skills programs and resources.
6. Send mission teams to Uganda to show Christ’s love, to further the guiding principles, and to increase understanding of the mission of CoG.
7. Partner with like-minded organizations locally and globally to provide services that support the mission of CoG.
8. Maintain donor’s trust through adherence to principles of good stewardship with a focus on board governance, financial transparency, integrity in fundraising, and proper use of ministry resources.
